Pa amb Tomàquet

A simple yet flavourful Catalan toast dish made with juicy tomatoes, garlic and rustic bread.

Ingredients:

  • Bread – 4 slices
  • Dulciz Red tomatoes – 300 grams
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Extra virgin olive oil – To taste
  • Fine Salt – To taste

Preparation:

  1. In a hot non-stick pan, toast the slices of bread and let cool for a few minutes.
  2. Peel the garlic and rub it directly on the toasted bread slices.
  3. Cut the Dulciz Red tomatoes in half.
  4. Using a sieve or potato masher, extract the tomato juice and pulp into a bowl.
  5. Pour a large amount of tomato juice on each slice of bread.
  6. Season with extra virgin olive oil and salt.
